Why hello there beautiful people!
I’m slacking again aren’t I? So much for a new post every Friday at 7pm! I’m so over the place lately! No excuses, I’m just a scatterbrain. I hope you enjoy this post, even though it’s really behind schedule.
My dream has come true yet again as I have had the honour of working with Boohoo for a second time on their ‘Dress It Up’ campaign. In this collaboration I was able to promote a dress of theirs of my choice, and although it’s almost impossible to ever decide, I gladly settled on this Gorgeous, funky dress.
I’m so boring when it comes to fashion and always tend to stick to the same colours. Usually I avoid anything bright in fear that it will clash with my ever-changing wacky hair colour. Then I saw this dress on Boohoo’s website I instantly fell in love! The colours caught my eye immediately, the orange and pink just give me immediate Summer vibes.
This dress is called ‘Long Sleeve Wrap Striped Midi Dress’ and I’m a UK size 8. This is now the most colourful item of clothing in my wardrobe and I’m so glad I own it. Not only has it brightened up my wardrobe, but it has made me see bright clothes in a new light, and I’m not so afraid to try bright items and step out of my comfort zone.
The thing I love most about this dress is how easily you can dress it up or down.
As you can see from the photos, I first wore this dress to a picnic and styled it with a pair of brown jewelled sandals and my ever so trusty brown rucksack. I played it safe with pink, white and purple bracelets but you can get away with pretty much any colour with this dress.
I also vision this dress with a chunky pair of white wedge heels that I own with a choker and a small bright clutch. That’s what I love about this dress- at first thoughts I think SUMMER!!! But it can be a day/night dress with a few simple changes in footwear/jewellery.
Oh and FYI I’ve already done a whole YouTube video about it, if you fancy giving it a quick watch?
I think I made a good choice with this dress! If you were to wear it, would you be more likely to dress it up or down? Let me know your thoughts! 🙂
